Big changes climate-wise are happening fast, exceptionally fast on geologic timescales, while politicians hope for a tech-miracle which seems increasingly unlikely. Sea surface temps, deep sea temps, wild weather, Arctic and Antarctic melting, scary AMOC update, moderate to huge El Nino forecast for late summer. It can all be overwhelming. A possible medicine is to love one thing: person, place, healthy activity, etc. in extraordinary ways to appreciate the gift here and now.
